Malaysia Study Guide was created to solve a problem many Bangladeshi students still face: limited, biased and incomplete information about studying in Malaysia. For years, most students relied entirely on agencies to decide which university to choose, how much budget to prepare and whether scholarships were available. Too often, options were suggested based on commissions and convenience, not on what was truly best for the student. Alternative universities, financial planning and scholarship chances were rarely explained clearly.
Our founder came from Bangladesh to Malaysia in 2017 as an international student, completing a Bachelor's in International Business and a Master’s in Management and now pursuing a PhD at Putra Business School. Living and studying here long-term gave him an inside view of how universities really work, the level of academic support students receive, and where they struggle with culture, money and study pressure. Through years of academic support and close work with students from many institutions, our team also learned which universities offer strong value and which do not match what their brochures promise.
Slowly, our role evolved from “just helping a few people” to guiding families who were overwhelmed by choices and needed honest, structured support to pick the right course, university and budget. In 2024, this informal support became a dedicated organisation with the launch of Malaysia Study Guide and our first office in Cyberjaya, followed by offices in Tangail and Rangpur. Since then, we have guided more than 50 students into Malaysian universities and maintained a very high visa success rate by checking every file carefully, addressing study gaps and being very clear about documentation.
